To avoid wasting valuable vacation time filling out forms, we recommend that you fill out our online check-in form before your arrival. You will receive your booking number and PIN code with your booking confirmation.

Of course we will welcome you personally, show you around and answer your questions about accommodation, surroundings and activities.

Arrival is possible from 17:00. Earlier arrival or luggage drop-off from 15:00 may be possible on request. Departure must be by 10.30am.

Please let us know exactly when you will be arriving so that we can organise your reception in the best possible way.

Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided free of charge. Basic equipment for cooking (incl oil, salt and pepper), dishwashing liquid, coffee filter and toilet paper are also available.

On request, we also provide a high chair and baby crib free of charge.

Whether on the bike path along the wild river, on the long-distance hiking trail through the valley and over the crests, or directly on the waves of the river by kayak or rafting boat – the Tyrolean Lech Nature Park can be experienced in many different ways during the summer. Numerous peaks can be conquered from any location and local delicacies can be tasted at the alpine pastures, mountain inns and mountain huts. In winter, snowy slopes invite you to go ski touring and snowshoeing, and well-prepared slopes invite you to go tobogganing and skiing. More info at www.lechtal.at.

At Berghaus Pfafflar: WIFI is currently not available and cell phone reception is also very limited. However, telephone reception is possible. Here you are at the right place to completely switch off!

Sometimes guests book our mountain houses to celebrate a special occasion and we are delighted when they choose our houses. It is the ideal place to spend convivial evenings with friends or family. However, we ask all guests to respect the special atmosphere of the place (nature, conviviality, mountain idyll, tranquillity). We would like to let you know in advance that a quiet time applies from 22:30. Thank you for your understanding!

Travel by train to Reutte: Reutte station is located in Austria, but is also considered by Deutsche Bahn like a “German station”, because it completes and connects the German lines. So you benefit from all the discounts valid in Germany (Bahnkarte, Sparpreis, Bayernticket ..) and also have an excellent connection to Germany (see reisezeitenkarte).

From Reutte, continue to take the Postbus to Elmen (in summer to Bschlabs itself) or order a cab from the train station: the travel times and ticket prices for the bus can be found at www.vvt.at. If you prefer a cab, just let us know your arrival time and you will be picked up at Reutte train station by Gerald, the village cab driver, and his minibus (8 seats). He will take you with all your luggage to your vacation destination in 30 minutes. This ride from Reutte to Bschlabs costs 75 €, which you pay him directly. The trip Elmen – Bschlabs costs 18 €. The same principle applies to the return journey.

You want to travel by train, but still be mobile with a car on site? Book a 9-seater bus directly at the station Reutte with which you can move during your vacations you. More info about the advantages of arriving with Rail & Drive.

Hiking cab and buses: Great importance is attached to public transport in the Lech Valley! As a guest in the Lech Valley, you have access to a sophisticated bus system with which you can comfortably get from one point to another.

Our side valley also has a hiking bus and a hiking cab in summer. We will also be happy to provide you with our list of hiking destinations where you can start right from our front door or which you can easily reach by hiking bus.

The nearest small grocery store is in Elmen (open from 7h30 to 12h30 and from 14h30 to 18h30, Thursday & Saturday only in the morning). Here you will also find fresh bread, as well as an ATM. SPAR ELMEN

There are many supermarkets in the Lechtal. The closest one is in Elbigenalp or in Weißenbach. The easiest way is to stock up on groceries before you arrive. As you drive up, you will pass numerous supermarkets and stores.

In the center of Bschlabs you will find a traditional inn (Gasthaus “Zur Gemütlichkeit”). You can find more tips on our online info board.

Yes, we are lucky to have a spring in the whole village with very good, crystal clear mountain water, directly from the mountain and without microplastics, so let’s try to avoid plastic!

Travelling by car to Berghaus Naturlech is generally possible without any problems. In winter, snow chains may be necessary in rare cases of heavy snowfall. Please carry snow chains with you in winter – better safe than sorry!

All mountain houses have their own parking space.

Berghaus Pfafflar: The last 500 m to the house are on a gravel road suitable for motor vehicles. It is possible to park directly at the house.

In our house the General Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry (AGBH) apply:

– up to 1 month before the arrival date 40 % of the total arrangement price;

– up to 1 week before the arrival date 70 % of the total arrangement price;

– in the last week before the arrival day 90 % of the total arrangement price.

We have decided against accepting dogs in Berghaus Naturlech and Berghaus Pfafflar for allergy reasons, so unfortunately we cannot make an exception. But I am pleased to inform you that in our vacation apartment in Berghaus Panorama dogs are allowed in the living rooms. So you are welcome to bring your pet with you. We only ask not to let the dog in the bedrooms and charge a dog fee of 10€/day.

We have the great offer of having 3 child-friendly ski lifts and two (small) family ski areas in the immediate vicinity.

In our village at the end of the valley in the snowy hamlet of Boden there is a small practice lift for children and beginners. Ski courses are also offered there on a regular basis, and there is an inn in the immediate vicinity. In addition, there is also a beautiful toboggan run and winter hiking trails (with or without snowshoes) in our side valley. The surroundings are beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Nothing is crowded here, so nature and relaxation as well as fun winter sports are guaranteed.

Two villages further downstream in Stanzach there are likewise two children’s practice lifts and a somewhat larger ski lift for families. There you will also find a café to warm up, ski instructors and a ski rental shop. The village is located on the banks of the Lech River, which also makes it an ideal starting point for walks or cross-country skiing along the wild meanders of this river.

And two villages upstream in Elbigenalp is similar to Stanzach, there is also a small ski lift to practice and in Bach a family ski area (Jöchlspitze), which guarantees a summit view.

Furthermore, in the Lechtal you also have other ski areas to choose from, which are a little further away: from family ski areas (e.g. Hahnenkamm in Höfen) to the most extensive ski area in Austria at the head of the valley near Warth : Ski Arlberg.
